Pray for wisdom before you seek knowledge. So that the knowledge will be useful.
The latter takes effort while the former is always a gift. But both compliments each other.
Knowledge
without wisdom is a waste of time. Wisdom however is like a sieve that
helps you distinguish between education and illusion. While knowledge is
very cheap, wisdom is scarce. Wisdom is the same as common sense. But
then, common sense is not common.
All students
may have equal opportunity to receive knowledge. But it takes wisdom to
interpret, utilize, be innovative and creative, to also solve problems
with what you have learned.
It's more than reading! But to
read beyond the lines. Its more than understanding! But building an
individual ideology. That's wisdom! Its beyond earning! But also
creating wealth.
The secret to knowledge is to
seek but the secret to wisdom is to 'think'. With ordinary knowledge,
you can garbage in and out. But with wisdom inclusive, you can enhance
your scholarship and become an authority.
In
conclusion, he who desires wisdom must always be patient, cautious and
thoughtful. You must look before you leap. Listen more than you talk.
Give more than you consume.
In a nutshell, be humble!
Wisdom starts with humility.
