He fights hard every day just to beat his best.
Everything he does is not to compete with the rest,
But to actually register his presence,
In the minds and hearts of sons and daughters of Adam.
For yesterday he beats his best,
Today he is putting all to test..
So that come what may, tomorrow he will beat his chest.
He wants to look back at his achievements,
Pick up books written about him, obviously not horrible collections!
But a collage of his torn images in a single Album.
There in, his past will dwell,
What a story it will tell!
Imagine!
Imagine you and you alone in the minds of thousands?
When thousands of people reminiscence your commitments to humanity.
When nations, because of you, honors your children and wife.
I could imagine the feelings.
The sensation of euphoria that you will leave.
The songs of praise in their mouths.
When people from near and wide,
Generations across the divides,
When son of daughters, And daughters of Son,
All because of you, bury their hatchets.
Just to preserve your very own legacy.
And then in your humble grave, you shall smile.
Smile for the everlasting joy you gave,
Smile for the wonderful gift you were,
Smile for the broken nations you brought together.
Smile for the tears you have wiped,
Smile for the lives you have uplifted.
Because just as prayers greets you in your sleep,
Flowers of affection shall visit your grave.
Everything will happen like a dream.
When the world finally deems it fit that you,
Yes! You forever remain in the hall of fame.
Oh! how solemn it would be?
The anniversary of a legend.
Oh! How sweet is it to remember?
The nostalgy about an Icon.
Sons and daughters of Adam,
Chanting the praises of a hero.
Letters flying like kites,
Praise! All shall gather at your last abode,
Alas! There can never be a better you.
Wailers from left and right,
They will come in their garments..
And read the message on your tomb:
"We love you but God loves you more. You will forever remain in our hearts. Rest on!"
Here is my wish.
