The case continued at the Zonal headquarters but as time goes on it declined by the day, may be the police force is interested in pursuing more recent cases ?. The crime rate  in the country continue to increase to a point where an extraordinary sitting of the parliament was held and major decisions were taken. The Inspector General of police was forced into compulsory retirement, all D.I.G's and A.I.G's placed on compulsory leave of absence and sent for several courses outside the shores of the country, An Acting I.G was appointed and given 14days to get to the root of the abnormalities. On the other hand Dami accompanied his uncle to the airport, I will really miss you, he (Dami) protested, his uncle smiled as he looked into his eyes, "you've always been with me ever since you were small, you're now a man, you have to bear it, I won't stay too long" he said, they both said their farewell as his uncle told him to always keep him abreast of happenings.

10days gone out of the 14days ultimatum and nothing meaningful was found as the bandits have also shealted their swords. The Ag I.G (O.T. Ekundayo) requested a study into all cases that can be linked to the maladies of bunkers and the response from the intellegent unit was that nothing helpful was found in the cases at hand with the exception of a murderer case of one Ola of which the murderer of her best friend (Ashabi) is also linked to it. If only what was written in her diary can be decoded. The Ag I.G Ekundayo requested that the case be brought to him for further findings.

On getting the file Ag. I.G Ekundayo went for the diary straight since it is the only exhibit, as he read through the diary he requested for the mobile numbers of both Ola and Ashabi and send it to the Niger*** Communications Commission(NCC) for details of phone calls and messages prior to their death but to everyone astonishment the NCC noted that details of the four mobile numbers (2 apiece) does not exist in their server, the parents of both girls were called to send their phone numbers for confirmation and the numbers were the same with what the police force documented,  shocking isn't it?, "A big masquerade is indeed involved" the Ag. I.G ponders.

Ag. I.G Ekundayo prepare his mind that the only saving grace would be the diary, he reopens the diary from the first page he saw details revolving around name, date of birth, state of origin, and other personal details but a qoute was underneath the details it reads "Life is indeed two (2) sided just like the abiku stories in CPJ,SW - self", other pages of the diary was examined and he finds things that relates to quotes, happenings (codified), surprises, relationships, outings, happiness, etc. The diary must have been Ola's best companion while alive the Ag. I.G ponder in his mind.
