This is a tale 
told by eyes that have learnt to cry 
A story that unfold 
tears that never dry 
Chronicle related 
By pen that never stop 
it is feelings 
by minds that never fatigue 

This is a tale 
told by unhappy hearts 
From the voices that sing 
And memories that sting 
The brains that think 
Often and often 

This is a page 
Written with a pace 
By a sage 
With a boiling rage 
Like lion... In a cage 
It is a gift, from the rock of age(s) 

It is a tale 
Sharp, like a tang of knife 
Written by a man of tame 
With high fame 
And a woman, which once dance 
the dance of shame 
It is a tale by a lame 

This is a tale 
From happy minds 
that has once been in the throes of despair 
It is a tale, from a concerned fellow 
Whose reputation once sullied 
It is told by a man of experience 

This is a tale 
Written by a man 
Gripped with fear 
By a woman 
Who never thought herself able 

These are feelings
Decorated 
These are words 
Furnished 
These are lies 
Polished 
The truth 
Garnished 
Yes, this is a tale 

This is nothing 
These are words 
Syllables that break heart 
And sentence that hurts 
It brings pain 
Again and again 

This is a chronicle 
told by supernaturals 
This is a tale by writers
