Trust is an expensive commodity,
Been dubious is not smartness,
When trust is broken all parties are likely to be casualties,
Once bitten forever shy.
If you deceitfully find your way today you risk tomorrow,
A broken plate is not repairable,
Betrayal carries more words even in silence,
Don't put yourself at disadvantage when the table later turns.
You may not be able to buy at an expensive price what you get free today,
Future engagements are yours to crush or build from now,
What exist on a platter of gold might be scarce in future,
The seed of distrust germinates beyond bounds.
Trust a few but never break people's confidence in you,
People often cry foul when their past come haunting them,
No one is promised a second chance to amend their ways,
Think twice before you break that chord.
Your reliability is an asset,
Integrity is a priceless virtue,
The fabrics of trust is highly vulnerable,
Don't plunder tomorrow over what you see today.
