Why so much outcry on the religion?
Why the outbursts on the peaceful posture of one faith?
Is it because of the fanatics on a self destructive mission?
Or just the desire to shun the love but to hate?
Since no religion preaches to destroy
Since all religions are anchored upon eternal joy
Why pick on a religion simply because it's not yours?
Why crucify a faith because of its lost ones?
Have you picked up all of the scriptures to read?
Have you, any time to digest what they preach?
In as much as non preached to pick up arms against a race
The validity of any faith shouldn't be up for debate
Why shed blood in the name of religion?
Didn't the Qur'an say there's no compulsion in religion?
Or didn't the Bible sue for peace in conflict resolutions?
Then why hide under the cloak of religion for your heartless decisions?
It's about time we rise above the enmity
To see ourselves as one big family
The evil ones are certainly those that strayed from the part of prosperity
We should only strive to return them to normalcy
For me, my religion is perfect but am not
So, rebuke me instead for the evil I may perpetrate
Look beyond the hypocrisy, cos my religion will fade not
Because it's built on truth, love and not hate.
